Winchester City Festival Choir

The WCFC is a mixed adult choir of around 75 singers. Under the direction of Robert Fielding, conductor, and Reg Fletcher, assistant conductor, the choir has extended its repertoire in recent years. The WCFC performs at a variety of venues in Hampshire and occasionally abroad.

In addition to the January and May concerts, the WCFC performs at various local events each year if possible. The choir has also enjoyed trips to perform in Winchester’s twin cities of Laon, France, and Giessen, Germany. Members of WCFC sing at weddings, small concerts and competitions as opportunities arise. The WCFC uses the convenient short name of “Winchester Singers” on these occasions.
